1939 vintage Coca-Cola salesman sample miniature cooler made by Kay Displays

Up for sale is a 1939 Coca-Cola salesman sample cooler. Cooler is all original, never having been restored. Paint is worn with areas of paint loss, scratches and small dents consistent with use. No booklets on inside of lid and the rubber seal that the lid would sit on is long gone. There was once a support that help hold the lid in place when opened. That support is missing but could probably easily be recreated. Cooler measures 12 1/4" wide, by 8" deep with cap catcher, by 10 high with lid handles. It has always been my belief that a piece could always be restored in the future, but can never go back to being (un)restored, so fewer and fewer original examples will be in existence.

Cooler still retains both lid handles, as well as the bottle opener and cap catcher. Marked Kay Displays on underneath side.
