Vintage coca cola coke neon motion spinner clock sign cleveland neon products
Neon Clock Sales Company started business in 1945. I'm not sure when they ceased operation. Most of the parts that I bought were wrapped in newspapers from the late 80's so they made it at least that long. I assume this clock is from that time frame but it could be older than that.
The design of the clock didn't change much and the clocks from the 40's did use a plastic spinner so it makes them hard to date. This one advertises Coca Cola and is marked Neon Clock Sales Company Chicago, IL around the bottom of the face. The white background is yellowed some with age and there are a few light scratches from a previously broken neon tube. The most notable scratch is next to the 1 in the number 10 and a small spot near the top of the C you should be able to see them in the close up picture of the face. The can is made of heavy steel the front half is chrome plated and in nearly perfect condition.
The back half is painted with silver hammertone paint and is as nice as the front. All of these clocks and parts were NOS and never used. They do have a little shelf wear or some very light scuffs but they are very nice! The clock does have a new neon tube, a new cord, and a new switch. 14.5 inches in diameter with an 11 inch outer glass and is approx.
