1940'S COCA COLA BOTTLE EMBLEM GOLD LEAF TIN SIGN COKE BUTTON FOR KAY FRAME. 1940's Original Coca-Cola Kay Frame Metal Emblem or Medallion. These were attached to the wood Kay frames displaying larger cardboard or poster Coca-Cola signs.
Metal emblem is 15 wide. The art deco-inspired frames with the bottle and leaf medallion are an icon in the Coca-Cola collector world. Made by Kay Displays, Inc. In Grand Rapids, Michigan, the frames were first offered around 1941, and then were soon replaced by a more streamlined design in 1947. Condition is insane, with some mild surface wear.
I have never seen one in this type of condition, I have included detailed photos but as this is an estate sale find all the information I have is already included in this listing. The items I sell are vintage. They will have signs of wear. Finds are sourced from estate sales and thrift stores in the Hollywood area of Southern California.
I do my best to catalog any flaws I find in the description of the item. It also helps me to feed my increasingly finicky cat who now only wants the most expensive cat food.
