A wonderful old wooden trade sign for Coal Coke and Wood that would have been used for home heating purposes. The sign is schmaltz or sand painted to make it more reflective. The old surface is excellent with as expected wear for a sign from the late 19th to early 20th century. It has a nice wood frame with a possible border board replacement on the left edge, otherwise all original condition. The sign is 77 1/4" long x 141/8" high and the boarder board is 1 3/4 thick.
