An original dated 1942 large 56" by 27" cardboard sign for Coca Cola which has a World War two theme depicting a WAC (Women's Army Corps) in uniform behind the wheel of her car with a man handing her a six pack of Coca Cola soda through her window. The sign is marked and was made by Forbes Of Boston and is dated 1942. I could not find a example of theis sign listed in Petretti's book on Coca Cola so I would assume its at least quite scarce.
Condition - the sign has no restoration of any kind with bright colors. There are some nail holes in the outer most edge from being nailed up at one time. There is loss to the extreme upper right corner again from being nailed up all of which could be easily matted out when framed. There are a couple very thin light crease marks in the upper left area and a small hole in this same region. I would say it rates a 7.5-8.0 on a scale of 10.
