Please Read On For A More In-Depth Description And Other Important Info Below.. The item you see below is the exact one you will receive as no stock photos are used. Th is wonderful Coca-Cola cardboard sign was made in 1916 for Coke promotional purposes. It is made of a thin cardboard material and is in absolutely breathtaking condition, especially for its age. These seldom come up for sale in any condition but this is one of the finest examples extant. There is some light scuffing in spots and the corners are not quite as crisp as they were when this was new. There is also a small amount of paper loss to the surface of the sign in a few places; these can mostly be covered up when framed, however.

There is a dent the size of a pinhead that is seen mostly from the back. The print quality is wonderful and crisp and appears to have been created using a silk screen method. Now some info to clear up any misconceptions: swaztikas adorn this sign around the edges and in the center between the bottles. Before the Nazis adopted the swastika as their official emblem, it was seen in The West as a symbol of successfulness and good luck.

Because this sign was created to advertise an instant-win style game, it's no wonder the swastika was utilized on this sign. The symbol was commonly used in the US until Germany "stole" it in 1920.

This sign definitely displays well and is a wonderful conversation piece. Please see the pics above to better appreciate, and b.
