Signed Photograph of George W. Woodruff Coca-Cola Investor and Philanthropist

This is a rare signed photograph of George W. Woodruff, a prominent investor and director of The Coca-Cola Company. Woodruff played a significant role in Coca-Cola's early success and was a well-known philanthropist, particularly contributing to educational and medical institutions such as Emory University and the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. The photo is inscribed and signed to General William MacChesney in 1928, highlighting their close connection and mutual respect. The photograph is in good condition overall but does have a noticeable crack in the glass of the frame (as shown in the pictures).

The signature and inscription are clear and legible despite some aging on the paper. The frame shows minor wear and tear but remains intact and is labeled by Geister & Zmich, Chicago. This photograph comes from the estate of General William MacChesney, a decorated World War I general who maintained close personal relationships with leading figures of his time, including George Woodruff.
